although its a wee bit blurry i think this is my favorite of your new pictures...

i like the way your eye is in shadow, it helps to give the image depth

and you've used the classic rule of thirds in this, whether you meant to or not haha :D [link]

your eye is at one point, your ear at another, then your neck (which i really like the lines it creates here) and then your lips in the final spot

and i do enjoy your new hair color, i had something similar once but yours has some really rich fuchsia tones in it which i like

oh! i almost forgot! yay for using complimentary colors! a lot of people i know are afraid of using red/green cause they think its only for Christmas (curse holiday color schemes!!! :shakefist:) but all you really have to do to make sure that its not christmassy looking is to use tints/shades/tones of red and green... which you did! yayyyyy :boogie:

Hi Jillian!

Wow. Thank you so much for the feed back. Its so refreshing to get a real comment other than just "cool". I mean that's nice to, but your feedback is just a breath of fresh air. Thank you!

I'm gald you like the new hair colour. I had had it natural for a while and just felt like breaking out.

The rule of thirds...i do know it, but generally don't follow, least not intentionally! I normally just go by eye.

And the uses of complimentary colours was very intentional. I LOVE colour, and love it when it ';pops'. So even though i know a lot of people think "Christmas" when you put those 2 together, i just couldn't resist! Plus i thought with the ivy make-up it would look a bit more like Poison Ivy from Batman and Robbin, or Arial from the little mermaid.

Anyways, thanks again for the wonderful comments, and i just want to add, that i love your Spock avatar! So cool. I take it you've seen the new movie? I loved it. Great fun.

Anyways, hope you have a great day!

wow! This is EPIC! Who'da thought the green and red would have gone so well without her looking like a christmas tree? Her pale skin also works really well, <3 this pic!
:iconlittlehippy:
Thank you so much for the comment! Green and red are such great contrasting colours. Shame everyone thinks if Christmas!
