Hi All!

Had my rainbow wedding on the 12th April 2008. Was on Chinaman's beach, Mosman, Sydney, Australia. It was perfect weather praise God. And Was the most wonder day ever... (See the video on YouTube: [link])

I wore rainbow dress i designed and had made up for me... a ribbon veil in rainbow colors that my Grandma made (See funny video of Grandma modeling the veil in the garden back home on YouTube: [link])

...and the most beautiful bouquet of ribbon flowers all hand made by my mums friends. (See a video of them making it on YouTube: [link])

I also carried a parasol that David and I painted in Perth.

I was traditionally late...by an hour!! The Bridesmaids wore turquoise, and also carried parasols that Rach and I painted, and Davids dad did Chinese characters on. One parasol said: 'God bless this marriage,' another said: 'Grace and Prosperity,' and the third said: 'Together Forever' Each Bridesmaid carried one. An Erica, my little 6 year old sister was the flower girl, wearing a white dress with a rainbow of ribbons around the middle. She also carried a parasol that she had painted herself in Perth.

We arrived in a sky blue VW Kombi van. And on arrival my mum gave me my great grandmothers as 'something borrowed' at which point i could barely hold back tears! Then arm in arm with my dad, sending the bridesmaids and flower girl in front i walked down the beach path and onto the beach where everyone was waiting. And there stood David. Wearing his stunning traditional gold Chinese jacket, and a big grin on his face!

We made our vows in the sand by the water, in God's creation and Pastor Vince gave us his blessings and we said 'I Do.' Then Kissed.

Its was the most magical moment.

Then it was hugs all around from everyone!

The reception was simply and out door BBQ (very Aussie!) In the Rosherville reserve behind the beach. The food was fantastic! And it was wonderful to see everyone.

We had ribbons on everything, and Chinese lanterns hanging in the trees. The musicians where fab, just a father and daughter playing a guitar and mandolin.

We had photos on the beach (will post up) and as the sun went down said goodbyes to everyone, then left for our hotel (the Grace hotel) a beautiful 4 star place with free champagne and a stunning view over the city. Was a perfect end to a perfect day.
